USA, Vereinigte Staaten von Amerika, Hancock County Welcome Center is the culmination of a joint effort of the Mississippi Department of Transportation and The Mississippi Development Authority. Construction began on the Welcome Center in September 1978 by Roy Anderson Construction Company of Gulfport and was completed at a cost of 1.23 million dollars. The total cost of the center was funded with 90 percent federal and 10 percent state funds.
